The straighter you sit, the better your horse will go.

Here at Equine Biomechanics Scotland we are using the latest technology to help people of all abilities improve their riding. Using cameras, pressure measurement and real-time data analysis we can make a big difference to the performance of both horse and rider.

  • Recent research is shedding new light on the reasons riders are likely to sit crooked, twist or have uneven rein contact;
  • Advanced Technology gives us detailed information about what a rider is doing;
  • Coaching Techniques based on new research and analysis are in place to help riders improve.
We offer two types of analysis:
  1. Rider Biomechanics Analysis
  2. Rein Contact Analysis

Riders can choose one of the above or both. Some of the analysis can be over a jump, although most riders start with flatwork analysis. We can come to you or you are welcome to visit our friendly yard in Blanefield, Stirlingshire.

Prices are on the bookings page.

Testimonials

“Thank you – that was so interesting yesterday. I honestly had no idea that I continually sit to the left in rising trot. And very tactfully communicated, Emily!”

“Well that was fascinating, enlightening, surprising and truly educational. Thank you for an amazing consultation. I’d love to come back for another one soon.”

“Equine Biomech have been such a help to me. I have gone from having no idea about the amount of contact I have and the effect this has on how I ride and how I’m sitting. So much to work on – thank you.”
